Fundraising Work
Each year I take part in a cycling event to raise money for various cancer centers. I design a reward gift for donations while I'm fundraising.

Project One:
In 2015 I chose the 100 mile ride of the Dempsey Challenge and wanted to do a special project to reflect that. Anyone who donated $25 or more received a bandana, with a choice of a chainstitched initial and a patch. Each bandana was hand stamped. Patches were printed digitally. Visit The Dempsey Center's website for more information about the center. Project Two: In 2014 I rode the Dempsey Challenge for the first time. I chose to do a smaller format poster that folded up to greeting card size. The size was chosen to aid in mailing due to the majority of my donations coming in from PA while I was in ME. I printed my message on the back of the poster folded up and included a blank thank you card to encourage the recipient to use for someone else. Project Three: First Poster: I designed this poster to aid in my fundraising for my Ride for Roswell. I rode 33 miles on June 22, 2013 to raise money for Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Fundaising went toward cancer research and patient care. There were nearly 8,000 riders and over $3.8 million raised. Anyone who donated any amount to Roswell through my ride recieved this poster if they so chose. Bike themed and perseverance themed for the ride and the purpose. Printed on French Construction Steel Blue. Second Poster: This poster was designed in addition to the first as a gift for those who donated $20+ to my ride. The top contributor recieved the green poster, while the other recieved the various colors. No two posters were printed the same color. |
